World Vision's Knit for Kids

Description

Today, 280 K-4th grade students at Alex Haley Elementary Academy received knit sweaters, scarves and hats from World Vision's Knit for Kids - just in time for the weekend's cold forecast. They also participated in a Goatwalk fashion show in partnership with Vogue Knitting LIVE. World Vision’s Knit for Kids is a nationwide program that unites thousands of volunteer knitters to fight poverty with their knitting needles. Every stitch offers hope and warmth to vulnerable children living in poverty or other difficult situations around the globe. Thanks to volunteer knitters, over half a million children have received something new for the first time in their lives.
